FUNDRAISING

Every year, the WHJWC organizes four major fundraisers:  The Wellesley Phone Book, Wellesley Marketplace, The Wellesley Kitchen Tour, and Wellesley Luminary Night.  Every member participates in each of these events.

THE WELLESLEY PHONE BOOK

This book, produced annually for the past 42 years and distributed to every business and residence in town, has become the favorite resource and phone book in Wellesley.  Phone Book is WHJWC's largest source of revenue.

THE WELLESLEY MARKETPLACE

For over 30 years, WHJWC has brought over 125 vendors to Wellesley each November for a day of fantastic holiday shopping.  Our second largest source of revenue, Marketplace continues to be a community favorite.

***PLEASE NOTE:  Due to the Wellesley High School construction, Marketplace will be held at the Wellesley Middle School in 2010.***

THE KITCHEN TOUR

Kitchen Tour opens 6 fabulous Wellesley homes to the public during the month of May (In 2011, the Kitchen Tour date is May 14th).  Through corporate sponsorship and ticket sales, Kitchen Tour has become an integral part of our fundraising efforts and of the community it supports.

LUMINARY NIGHT

Introduced in 2008, Luminary Night is a non-denominational holiday celebration that provides a wonderful opportunity for families of all ages, religions, and backgounds to come together, enjoy the beautiful sight of the neighboring homes lit up, and donate to a worthy cause.  More than 1,000 homes and business across town participated in our first year of the event.
