WHJWC TO BEGIN ACCEPTING GRANT APPLICATIONS NOVEMBER 1, 2012

Last year, WHJWC funded 38 grants for a total of $70,000. These grant awards were made to a variety of educational, elderly, healthcare, youth, civic and community programs. Particular emphasis is placed on those programs that have a significant impact on the Wellesley community as a whole and its individual residents.

Notification of the committee’s decision regarding your request will be made in written form in mid-May and funds distributed in May or June.
The application deadline for Donation Grants is February 1, 2013.

WHJWC’s 2011 President Stephanie Sheps, Past President Jen Taplin, 2011-2012 VP of Charitable Giving Sara Bavaro, 2011-2012 VP of Community Outreach and 2010-11 Donations Chair Ingrid Houghton, and Trish Lucas, 2011-2012 Donations Chair announce the WPS Stop Bullying Now 2-year $17,500 grant to the WHJWC membership at the 2011 September General Membership Meeting.
